About Me
Hello, I’m Bhakti. I would like to offer you the opportunity to change your outlook on life, to find your power and to leave your fears behind.
About Me
I was extremely lucky to be born to beautiful parents.
They were progressive and taught me from a very young age that I could do anything (which was rare for the era).
But despite this, I felt that I didn’t really belong.
I was very different compared to the people in the small town, and I felt a need for spiritual growth.
For as long as I can remember I was attracted to the Indian philosophy, the deep respect towards the divine, irrespective of religion.
It was something that has always resonated with me, so after finishing high school, I decided to take the plunge and travelled to India.
I was determined to find myself and to heal the yearning, in any way I could.
After my first solo trip, I was in love. With the land. The people and most importantly, the way of thinking.
I continued to visit every opportunity I could, even after starting college.
I was lucky enough to find a therapy group in my early 20s that gave me the chance to fully commit to the process.
I did an intensive year of therapy and self-reflection; including primal scream groups, encounter groups, and week-long meditation sessions.
After that year I emerged feeling like a new person; grounded, centred and with an inner strength that I had never imagined was possible.

“I realised early in my travels, that the experience had opened my eyes and that I wanted to pursue my personal growth further to release old patterns and be completely free. ”
I realised that if you want to make a difference and truly change your life; you have to take a serious look at yourself, your habits, the indoctrinations of your childhood and the educational system; as well the unconscious reactions we teach ourselves whenever we feel hurt or rejected.
I then became a student of BKS Iyengar, the world-renowned yoga teacher and took my spiritual growth to the next level with the help of yoga and meditation.
Finally comfortable with who I was, I then settled into my life.
I got married, and I had a beautiful daughter. In 1995 we left India and returned to Europe (Spain) to be closer to my parents who were getting old.
Fast forward to 2015, I had a desire to make a difference and volunteered my services to a social agency that helped at-risk teenagers to find their way and regain their future, rather than following the path of substance abuse and potential incarceration.
A lot of them had significant trauma that needed to be released and worked through, before I was able to reach them at a deeper level and allow them to see that their future was in fact their own, and that they could choose a different path.
I was able to change numerous lives with my approach, even after most foster parents had given up. I had an innate ability to connect and shift perspectives, that ultimately changed their lives.
After a lengthy battle with his health, I lost my husband of over 40 years in 2017.
I have decided that now is the time for me to extend my expertise to anyone who needs help to release their fears and to embrace their life fully and completely.
